Banish Rainy Day Blues With Simple Cinnamon Fun!

Has all of the rain we’ve received left you to deal with a bit of cabin fever?

My sons haven’t stopped complaining about how bored they are and questioning when the rain will stop so they can play outside again.

Cinnamon play dough recipeTo be honest, I’m really not looking forward to the aftermath of mud-filled floors.

But, until then, I needed to figure out how I could occupy my children while they’re under this so-called house arrest by Mother Nature …

I figured a craft would be a great way to get their minds off of the rain and onto the beauty of fall and the upcoming holiday season. I found a recipe for cinnamon play dough that is extremely easy to make, fun to play with and makes your house smell heavenly. You can’t ask for more – wait – I forgot to mention that it’ll make the fighting between siblings pause for a second, provide a nice bout of peace and quiet, and will help their amazing imaginations take over the boredom!

It doesn’t matter if you have sons or daughters, both will enjoy playing around with this delicious smelling dough!

Chances are you have the ingredients already in your cabinets and could whip up a batch in no time! You can even mix it up a little by adding some pumpkin pie spice.

Enjoy, make memories, and love every second (even the sibling disagreements). Time flies, but memories last forever. Have a fantastic weekend, CASA of CGS family!
