This week (April 21 through 27) is National Volunteer Appreciation Week. The week was established by President Richard Nixon in 1974 to recognize the millions of dedicated Americans who volunteer during the year in an effort to make the world a better place. CASA of CGS is honoring our hard-working and dedicated volunteers while celebrating Volunteer Appreciation Week with an Appreciation Breakfast, Friday, at The New Dodges Market, in Elmer.

Special guest, the talented Mark Carroll, will provide a gorgeous musical backdrop that will perfectly compliment Dodge’s fabulous menu, and CASA Executive Director and Splashlife CEO and founder, Melissa Helmbrecht, will share some insight from her incredible journey.

Volunteers will also have a time to share their experiences and selfless love of volunteering.  To have a group of individuals come together and enjoy a morning of appreciating all of the hard work involved in volunteering, is spectacular to say the least. CASA’s main goal is to provide the best service we can to our community and the children we serve. We couldn’t do it without our driven, dedicated, loving, and hardworking volunteers. For that, we thank you!
