Lift people up instead of putting them down!

You are an individual – an individual with great opportunity for growth and contribution to the world.

But, the most important thing to remember while growing and contributing is that no one – I repeat – no one, should have the ability to bring you down in any way.

The longer you allow a person to have a power over you, the more control they gain, all while destroying your self-esteem and well-being.

The detrimental effects of being beat down verbally, physically and emotionally are draining. Not only that, but they hinder how brilliant your offering to this world can be.

10b6d10b3ac526ff00d7e07c86867eefDon’t allow someone to talk down to you. I’ve tried desperately to instill the thought “Never look down on someone unless you’re helping them up,” into my son’s minds. It’s imperative to remember this. Every negative statement will leave an impression. We are a society that requires positivity, but somehow has an epidemic of negativity.

Not one person has the right to make you feel inferior. Every individual provides a different gift to our society. Each person has a different level of intelligence with language, words, complex problem solving, mathematics, or building. Take your area of knowledge and focus on it – share it. We need everything you are able to offer for the future!

Lift people up – never put them down!
