In just a little over a month, CASA of CGS will hold its Superhero 5K Run/Walk and Family Fun Day at Rowan University.

Where will you be June 1?

You should join us! We’ll be walking (or running) decked out in our superhero costumes with a full heart and smiles knowing we’re supporting the children of our future. Can you picture it? Spidermen, Supermen, Hulks, Batmen, Wonderwomen, Supergirls, and superheroes of all sorts coming out from their lairs to gather together and fight child abuse and neglect.

Even if walking and running really aren’t an option for you, the Family Fun Day following the 5K is surely one you don’t want to miss! With so many activities planned: Potato sack races, Superhero Dance Contest, Dunk the Villain, face painting, food, music, and more, June 1 won’t be just an ordinary day!

The Superhero 5k will be a shotgun start. A prize will be awarded to the top male and female finishers of the race and best costume. A prize will also be awarded to the individual and team that raises the most monetary support for CASA. Proceeds from the event will benefit CASA of Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem counties and CASA of Camden County.

If you haven’t done so already, register for the Superhero 5k Walk/Run and Family Fun day at https://wespeakupforchildren.org/family-registration and Individual Registration: https://wespeakupforchildren.org/individual-registration

Or, if you would like to register for Family Fun Day only, register here: https://wespeakupforchildren.org/register-for-family-fun-day-only/

With your help, and the help of families and friends, we can do this. We can all be a superhero! Every child needs a hero, but abused children need Superheroes! For more information, visit https://wespeakupforchildren.org. Don’t miss this event! Not only will this give you the opportunity to have a blast with your friends and family and all of the members of our team, but you are supporting a cause that won’t go away without a community-wide effort. This is one day where you can be a little silly and feel good doing it!
