We’ve all made mistakes.
Not one human can make it through life without a single wrong move. Granted, some mistakes are much larger than others, but they’re all mistakes nonetheless. Whatever you do, don’t beat yourself up, don’t dwell on it – pick yourself up and move on.
Sure it’s easy to dwell on them and allow them to set you back from your goals. But, what you need to do is use these so-called mistakes to climb upon and better yourself. A foundation built on lessons learned is incredibly stronger than one in which has no experience.
Quite a few years back, I made a large mistake (definitely not counting all of the others I’ve made in between), and, while it took some time for this mistake to come to light, the effects were devastating. Looking back, I can’t explain how I didn’t allow my mistake to mold into a negative outcome.
At the time, it would’ve been easy to fall into a slump – which, honestly, is exactly what would’ve prevented personal growth. Instead, I fought back. My mistakes provided me with knowledge, experience and the ability to share emotions with others who may have made the same life errors.
Don’t let your mistakes mold you into something you’re not proud of. Stand tall on the rock-hard foundation you’ve built with them.
