Up until an hour ago, I thought pool noodles served two purposes.
The first is obvious, to be used in the pool – floating, blowing water through, etc. The second, I’m not too thrilled about, but, my boys love to use them to joust.
I’m not really big on the jousting thing, so when I came across this article, I was thrilled!
Pool noodles can also be:
- Race tracks!
- Obstacle courses!
Summer is rapidly approaching and I’m pretty sure that by the second week, we’re all going to hear cries of, “I’m bored,” “Can we do something?”, etc.
With a little imagination, kids can have a blast for hours!
More ideas that don’t require the use of pool noodles can be found on the original website, www.buzzfeed.com/alannaokun/creative-and-inexpensive-ways-to-keep-kids-busy
