I apologize in advance to those who may suffer from a peanut allergy or may not like peanut butter. But, these little pumpkins were too adorable not to share! With Fall in full force and pumpkin everything surrounding us, this tiny dessert is just the right size for little and big hands alike.
Make some for yourself, for your family, or spread some cheer within your neighborhood. Just, please be mindful of people with an allergy.
1 box powdered sugar
1 small jar peanut butter
1/2 stick of butter
red & yellow food coloring
Mix powdered sugar, peanut butter and softened butter in a bowl just until combined. Mix red and yellow food coloring with 1/4 cup of water until you get the desired orange. Add the food coloring, a little at a time, to the peanut butter mixture and mix well. Roll the dough into small teaspoon size balls. Use a toothpick to create criss-cross markings across the top of the balls. Top each ball with a chocolate chip and you have your little pumpkins!
