There isn’t a day that goes by that we don’t thank our lucky stars for advocates like you!
It’s no secret how much work goes into this particular type of advocacy; you’re on the front line, investigating, learning and selflessly giving your heart and time.
The fight against child abuse and teaching for prevention occurs all day, every day and would be a losing battle if it weren’t for your dedication and volunteerism.
We aren’t the only ones that feel this way.
Governor Chris Christie has released a proclamation declaring this Friday, April 4, as CASA Child Advocate Day.
We’re ecstatic to receive an honor such as this! It speaks volumes of the changes in place and progress made toward better, healthier lives for the children we serve.
You should hold your head high on Friday, and every day, knowing you are the voice the children need to grow in a positive, promising way.
You are a CASA, and because of you, abused and neglected children have a voice.
