CASA of CGS Advocate of the Month for June

Every day the CASA of CGS team witnesses acts of incredible strength, determination and whole-hearted compassion. The amount of effort advocates put into a case for a child goes beyond physical ability and time. When you pour your heart into your footwork and recommendations, your emotional and mental well-being can suffer. It’s important to remember to take time for yourself to unwind and reflect on the progress you’ve made.

The CASA advocate of the month for June is Salem County advocate, Gary Salber!

Even though Gary works full time as an attorney, he still makes time to see his CASA children and provides the court with strong recommendations on their behalf. He is now on his fourth case and never lets us down! Not only does he always ask for new cases, but, he has traveled to out of county locations for his last two sibling groups. Most recently, he has accepted a case for brothers placed in Burlington County. The case he was (and is still on) brought him to Delaware to see his children. We don’t always receive referrals with children who are placed out of county, but when we do, we are so incredibly grateful for advocates like Gary who will quite literally go the extra mile when needed.

We are so very thankful for you, Gary! Thank you for every single thing you do for your CASA children, our program and for each of us. You’re the best!
