Mary has been a CASA since December, 2019. From the moment we met her, we knew she wanted nothing more than to give back to others.
Truly altruistic, Mary has shown since she joined our family that she is committed to making our community a better place for children to thrive.
She is currently volunteering on two different cases and is always on time, eager to learn and
completely objective and professional when writing her reports to the court.
Her Advocate Coordinator, Cara, says, “I have the great opportunity of working with Mary for the past seven months. As soon as Mary completed her training, she was ready to jump on board and help! Mary is an enthusiastic and dependable advocate. One of the most notable actions Mary has taken on her current case, is she went to observe her CASA child in school! When she heard that he was having difficulty academically and socially, she wanted to jump right in and learn more. I appreciate Mary’s fearless approach and admire that very much so! Thank you, Mary you are a rock star!”
Mary has faithfully attended our trainings when we could have them in person and now as we have them virtually. Her commitment is evident because she always shows up and contributes in any way she can.
Our volunteer coordinator had the pleasure of working with Mary during her training and says, “While in training, Mary was always eager to participate and learn as much as possible! She was a joy to have in class and I love how she is still looking to be as involved as ever during these crazy times. Keep rocking it, Mary!”
