The CASA advocate of the month for July is Gloucester County advocate, Melissa Tagye!
Melissa has been an advocate since 2012. Her tenacity and drive to find justice and permanency for children is next to none. She has been on six cases since she has joined our team and is always juggling more than one case along with a full time job and her family. Melissa, without a doubt, is prepared for each hearing, stands her ground when advocating in the best interest of her CASA children, and although she may have a tough exterior when fighting for what is right, she has a gigantic heart filled with kindness for her “children.”Melissa provides reports without fail and the judges consistently express how much they appreciate her input. She is truly the “eyes and ears for the judge.” Her dedication to our program and the community is incredible. She is kind, reliable and outstandingly supportive. Her strongest qualities really shine when she’s faced with the hardest circumstances and we appreciate her service more than words could express. Because of individuals like Melissa, our community will be a better place for children.
